What extra confirmation does triple moving-average alignment add?
Triple moving-average alignment
What it bets
When the short, medium, and long averages are all in order at once, the trend is less likely to be noise than a single cross.
How the rule is written
A long requires the short average above the medium, the medium above the long, and price on the same side of the set. When the order breaks, exit or stop adding. It is slower than two averages.
When it fails
By the time all three are lined up, the entry is already late. On a sharp turn, the exit is late too.
Do not confuse it with
Two averages only ask whether one cross up happened. GMMA uses two groups, with several lines in each, and the signal is the ribbons opening, not three lines in order.
